The Food & Farming Industry Awards bring together the very best of the British food and farming industry for a highly prestigious awards ceremony at the House of Commons. The awards recognise and reward excellence, foster innovation and create a can-do environment that inspires creativity and sharing of best practice.
The 2019 Food & Farming Industry Awards will be held in December at the House of Commons followed by an after show party at Gillray’s Bar, Marriott London County Hall. This prestigious event will include a three-course gala dinner with pre-dinner drinks and table wine. There will be a full awards presentation with a celebrity host, to be announced.
For the winners, being presented with an award at the iconic Houses of Parliament is a very special moment which very few are lucky enough to experience. Sponsored by some of the best-known companies in the industry, including Corteva, the awards presentation is a major industry event and a celebration of all that is great about British Agriculture.
Corteva Agriscience will be sponsoring the Agronomist of the Year award. The award is for either an independent or employed agronomist who is passionate about helping growers achieve their full potential. The winner will be able to demonstrate how their advice has led to improvements in a farm’s performance.
It’s vital that those who push themselves and their businesses to be the best they can be get the recognition they deserve. That’s why Corteva is proud and excited to be sponsoring the Food & Farming Industry Awards 2019. Innovation is at the heart of everything Corteva does, so supporting those who are determined to affect change and find a better way forward is closely aligned to our vision. In supporting awards programmes such as this we hope we can help to inspire others to get more back from what they put in.
